Just five days in, and all of us here are thrilled to be “live” and see how Kapitall takes shape. Since launching our first generation beta on Monday, a lot of new investors have joined and, so far, the response has been enormously positive. Our new Kapitallists are already playing with many of the site’s features: building their investor profiles (DNA), creating portfolios, and customizing their playgrounds with companies and funds that interest them most. Of course, having a 200-point swing in the Dow on launch day only added to the excitement!
Some of our more enterprising users have begun establishing networks and are sharing ideas with friends and other like-minded Kapitallists. Along with our friendly, “drag and drop” interface and our intuitive tools, this makes the Kapitall experience stand apart from traditional investing sites. Kapitall is more than just a repository for stock quotes and financial data—it’s a place to make investing more interesting and more enjoyable.
