We are always looking to partner with interesting data providers, and finding ways of incorporating their data into our analytical tools.
Addressing Climate Change: We have just integrated data from Climate Counts, a nonprofit organization launched with support from Stonyfield Farm, Inc. Kapitall is proud to be a part of this collaborative effort to bring consumers and companies together in the fight against global climate change.
How We Use Climate Counts Ratings:
- Kapitallists can access Climate Counts ratings on Company Snapshots
- The Super Screener can be used to find companies that are environmentally responsible
- The Compar-O-Matic can be used to compare the performance of environmentally responsible companies to the rest of the market
- The List Snapshot can be used to analyze news events, management efficiency, stock performance and brands relevant to environmentally responsible companies
Two Interesting Observations:
- The top 12 environmentally responsible companies had an average return of -24% over the last year, outperforming the S&P500
- Wall Street analysts have "Buy" ratings on 5 of the top 12 environmentally responsible companies, but only 3 of the bottom 12 have "Buy" ratings
